Started out life as a plain old gsxr1100. Only mod's were, a cobrapower pipe, gas flowed head, stage 3 tune, a set of harrison 6 pots goodrich hoses front and rear & oil breather lines
Cosmetically nothing changed, Then the inevitable crash happened and that's when i got the lets change it virus. Which as u know is incurable and generally has the ability to piss your wife off.

So first thing i had to do was rebuild the front of the bike, I managed to get a hold of some blade fox eye lights cheap, and got the front sub frame re- worked to fit. (E.s.m engineering) The next thing was to find a good plastic welder, found Mitch (Plasweld) he rebuilt the front end .
whilst i was in the mood sent of the wheels to get polished out (cms polishers) and went about doing the frame my self (don't do it it takes ferking ages)

One re-paint later. (looking back i hate it) and yes i thought it would be a good idea to get the seat done white??????????

Next came the back end, managed to get a 916 seat unit from ( Laguna Motorcycles) pretty badly damaged Mitch came to the rescue re-welded the cracks and modified the rear lights to take the round m&p units Indicators were built into the rear vents so to keep it uncluttered.rear sub frame was modified to take the seat unit. (Perfomoto) they also made the battery clamp, which they located above the shock, and the rear exhaust hanger

,Next i got hold of a 750 swing arm used 1100 linkages, and Perfomoto over braced it (Gary the polisher) finished the job and also polished the rear sets the rearcaliper and tauk arm

E.S.M made up a small chain guard, (I've had a chain go on me at over a 100 mph and it makes a mess of your plastics) they also made me a set of fairing stays, which reduced any vibration at the front

With the new back end comes the were am i going to put all this shit scenario. E.S.M sorted out a stainless steel under tray and welded some lugs onto the sub frame to hold them in place.
Why black because i got a bit to friendly with the tarmac on a roundabout, lost one side of the bike, bloody typical it had to be the exhaust side

thats when i got the rear shock sorted out by set up engineering james put on a tech 2000 spring and literaly rebuilt the original adding to my ride hieght and adjustments the bike was a totally different animal after that So re-painted by (jim james coach works) repaired the fairing, put on a full micron race can, set of clip on harris bars. vented out the front guard to help cool the discs. (didn't work all it did was make the front end waver at high speed air likes smooth sides

That was it for about a year.Got fed up with the fairing and decided to go the naked way. Put on a yoshimura heat guard, gary finished up the polishing by doing the clutch covers etc. Polished out the forks, put on a good rich oil cooler with braided lines Went to Croatia 1300 miles later A massive 80mph+accident. The Bike was in Croatia for 3 months came back wrecked, no hope of getting any monies back!
So have spent 6 months putting it back together

so first thing was a new goodrich radiator which had been split in the crash
had to bin the clipons, which got bent so sorted out a new headstock and some drag bars. next stop was a set of mig lights which needed a relay put in ,so while we were at it we sorted out the front wiing loom.
pushed the forks through about an inch to quicken the steering and had riseres made up for the headstock, oil and springs for the front forks were changed to white power internals

got hold of a triumph bug screen in alloy to finish of the look, to be totally honest looks like a bolt on so its coming off Made up an ally sheet to cover the base of the 916 unit to stop people cracking it not streanthend for pillion.
got rid of the clocks remounted the idiot lights and put on a sigma computer oil pressure guage fitted and some cam cooler lines and breather lines fittedso bike was ready to play on the way down to the dyno realised bike was blowing smoke and it turned out to be worn piston rings /gudgen pins ect sickpup rebuilt the top end and all was well (or so we thought)
ok story so far sickpup done the buisness, we took the bike down to ken cooper and onto the rolling road it went all was well we knew we had carb issues and a few runs had started to sort out the issues
then without warning it went bang it wasnt down to ken or sickpup it was down to that bloody crash in croatia oil starvation is a bummerin hindsite we should have stripped it down to the bottom end and checked everything however i had spent all the dosh on the unessentials like new paint job courtesy of doug at bennet brothers & aR1i rear hugger manufactured to fit ect ect
so some looking later managed to get a bandit 1200 engine (thanks oxford big bike breakers )it needed some work and sickpup feeling sorry for me offered to sort it, so some repair work later ie welding on the head (thanks weld tek)c and a very patient spencer

we were ready to rock and rol lthe doner engine was from a vandalised bandit the engine looked clean just as we were about to pu it in the bike we heard a rattle so we decided to take off the sump and low and behold the basatards had vandalised the engine too big bike breakers were brilliant no arguments and managed to sort us out another engine

so the story so far is 2003 off the road and the bike should be back on the road by sometime in summe rready for 2004
more updates/pics when its doneaug 2004 bike is up and running sorted out some oil leaking probs, sick pup did a brilliant job meshing top of one b12 to the bottom of another b 12 loads of little issues which took time to sort ie noicy cans ect which sickpup rsolved by loaning me a sabuki manual cam chain tensioner

so while that was being done i decided to review other bits of the bike as you do. on went the secondry oil cooler which fitted nicley under the seat unit and did not fowl on the swing arm ready for the big bore kit i will be looking into some time next year, front sprocket cover was replaced with a nicer bandit trick cover, the i must have a see through clutch cover went on mounted the oil catch tank to the cooler, replaced the idiot lights with led,s built into the headstock, alley cat indicators went onto the front, modified cyclops light unit replaced the migs, changed the disks to critical wave disks front and rear and currently waiting on cam to rocker oil lines

got the brake / clutch master cylinder polished out had to polish out clutch cover ect scuffed during the crash anything we needed to polish we did and then some next up: some time in oct 04 bikes going off to ploygon engineering redo sub frame better clearance and neater undertray want to keep it single seater but need to be able to go dual see what they come up with

the. swingarm they do a beutiful banana arm im gonna get one of those. catch tank needs to be made properly with 2 feeds one in from the clutch cover the other from the head.lastly going to make up a new exhaust link pipe i want to run the exhaust from under the bike to keep the lines clean (watch this space) other bits going on dyna coils.taylor leads, all goodrich fittings being polished out as with the down pipes, headstock and ignition barrel

2007 the original plan was to modify a r6 seat unit and replace the 916 unit i had on the bike however came across a nos kit and managed to get hold of a nos bottle and clamp (thanks steve) managed to pick up a race r6 seat unit and got it modified so i could use a one off seat, then came the cutting up of a perfectly good subframe to ensure the seat unit fitted (thanks jim)got the subframe off to gregory an ally welder and he modified the sub frame to take the bottle and made up a undertray for the electrics and also made up some funky holder for the suspension resovouir

i was going to mount the bottle underslung since i have the height clearance however after loads of scratching of heads and coffee it was steve that said how about in the seat unit and a plan was born so subframe back to welder to make it happen and it came back looking a treat

from thiere it all happened real quick had to modify the wiring loom as there is no space under the r6 seat unit it went from a tidy up to jim getting anal and telling me to redo the rear in the end pretty much 3 quarters of the loom got cut out and redone, took off the secondry cooler, i intend to remount it at the front sometime, got hold of an r6 undertray modified to fit and moulded the led brakes into it also picked up some funcky billet indicators and built them into the r6 tail unit run the nos feed on the inside of the seat unit. made up an alley plate for the seat pad about 4 times until i got it right jim redone it and i changed it again even after we had it covered i wasent happy and got it redone again

on the nos kit mounted the solonoids under the carbs and also mounted the nos fuel pump under the k&n filters i had trouble wiring the go button to the horn so went for a tes billet mount, mounted the nos activation switch in the frame and run the wires through the main strut tes made me up some nos flanges as opossed to screwing them into the rubbers

went totally remote on ignition and bought a billet fuel cap,and billet adjustable stand re-routed the breather lines, repainted the bike also came across a set of brembo front and clutch master cylinders much better feel and work the harrison 6 pots a treat ,new mini front mudguard and healight cowling finish it off for now

so 2008 bike should be getting its photoshoot for sf magazine in january then the plan is frame getting powder-coated satin black the wheels will be going satin black with the rims polished the forks will be getting annodised black with the knuckles poilshed breather bottle annodised black and just got hold of a ally micron race can which again will be cut shorter than the original and annodised black whilst im at that may redo the engine paint and wiring im also looking into a set of yoshi rear sets but i will need a mounting plate made up ohh yea and finialy some thug yokes from tes and remount the solonoids for the nos under the seat unit once they are polished up thats about it for winter 2008

2009/10 lots happened frame powder coated thug yokes by scott yoshi rear sets all repainted black got its photo suit won a couple of shows then decided to change it plan was to drag it out busa swing arm busa shock bus rear wheel carbon fibre r6 race seat unit brand new wiring loom all was ready in 2010 then got an offer i couldent refuse and sold it all off broke it down
